Louis and Tessy go the distance for Veterans Aid

21 October 2014

Former VA volunteer Tessy de Nassau and her husband Louis took on Luxemburg’s toughest race to raise funds for the charity. The Strongman Challenge, over 22 kilometres, required participants to run, jump, climb and swim.  It featured 15 obstacles including gravel pits, uneven ground with hidden roots, mud and wires. More than 2,200 people took part – including 423 women – under team names such as Slidomania, Punch Attack, Foaminator, Mud Pack and Mount Neverrest.
